Exploring and Learning

hikes & Other experiences

Guided Hikes and other experiences give HCLT members a chance to visit protected properties, learning about the ecology and natural history of each unique site.

Village Nature Series (VNS) and youth vns

 HCLT and The Village Green partner to bring VNS to Cashiers. Once a month throughout the summer, we invite experts in their field of natural or cultural heritage to give a free family friendly presentation at the Village Green Commons. New in 2024- Youth VNS!

Kids in nature

HCLT works with existing afterschool groups to help our youth put down their screens and connect with the natural world around them. We believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.
